Channels
Connecting Booking, Airbnb or Expedia
How the channel manager hookup works, what credentials to send us, what happens on each side.
Ostelflow connects to Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Vrbo and Hotels.com out of the box. Once connected, your inventory and prices stay in sync across every channel — no more double bookings, no manual calendar updates.
What you'll need before starting
- Your login for each OTA you want to connect
- The property already created in Ostelflow with at least one unit
- ~10 minutes per channel
The flow, step by step
- Open Channels in the sidebar
- Find your property and click Connect next to the channel you want
- Fill in the form (your OTA login + which units you want to sync) and submit
- We get notified, do the channel-manager side of the connection, and ping you when it's live (usually within a few hours during business hours)
- Once connected you'll see "Connected" next to the channel; bookings start flowing into your calendar in real time
Why we set it up for you
Connecting Booking and Airbnb requires going through their partner verification flows, which are easier to navigate with experience. Rather than make you fight with their dashboards, we do it on your behalf — that's part of what your subscription pays for.
Once it's connected
- New OTA bookings appear in your calendar within seconds
- You can reply to guest messages from the same OTA in your Ostelflow inbox
- When you take a direct booking, the dates are automatically blocked on the OTA — no double bookings
- When you change a stay's dates in Ostelflow, the new availability is pushed to the OTA automatically
If a channel disconnects later
Sometimes the OTA's authentication token expires and the connection drops. We monitor for this automatically — if it happens we'll notify you and you can reconnect in one click from the Channels page. If you ever see a "Not connected" badge where there used to be a green one, just click Reconnect.
