Getting started

Your first day with Ostelflow

What to set up first so you can take a real booking the same day.

You just got your welcome email and set your password. Here's what to do next so you can take a real booking the same day.

1. Finish onboarding

The first time you log in we walk you through a short setup wizard: property basics, units, and (optionally) connecting your channels. It takes 3 to 5 minutes. You can skip the channels step and come back to it later.

2. Add your first booking by hand

Open the calendar, pick a date range, click the unit, hit New booking. This is a great way to test the system end-to-end without waiting for real bookings to come in.

3. Set your default check-in / check-out times

Settings → General. Default is 15:00 for check-in, 11:00 for check-out. Override per property if your housekeeping schedule is different.

4. Try the guest app

Open any booking, click the Guest link, and you'll see exactly what the guest sees when they visit their stay page. Useful for QA before any real guest arrives.

5. Schedule your onboarding call

We email you in the first 24 hours to schedule a 30-minute call. That's when we help you connect Booking, Airbnb and Expedia (if you didn't do it during signup), import your existing bookings, and walk through your specific setup.
