Setting up online check-in

Let guests fill the paperwork from their phone before arrival.

Online check-in lets your guests do the paperwork from their phone before they arrive. Names, IDs, photos, additional travellers, fiche-de-police — done before they show up at your door.

How it works for the guest

  1. 48 hours before check-in, the guest receives a magic-link email with a "Complete your check-in" button
  2. They click it from any phone — no download, no account
  3. They fill the form: their info, ID photo, any extra travellers
  4. They accept the data-handling disclosure and submit
  5. You see "Check-in complete" on their booking in your dashboard

What you need to do

Online check-in works out of the box on every booking — you don't have to enable anything per-property. As long as the booking has a guest email, the magic link goes out automatically.

You can also re-send the link manually from the booking page → Guest link.

Photos + privacy

Photos uploaded during check-in (ID, selfies) are stored for 90 days and then automatically deleted. If your local regulation requires longer retention, ask us — we can adjust per property.

If the guest doesn't complete check-in

Nothing breaks. They can still check in the traditional way at your front desk. The booking just shows "Check-in pending" instead of "Check-in complete" in your dashboard.

What about additional travellers?

The lead guest can add each traveller's info inside the same form — name, ID number, nationality. Goes onto the fiche-de- police automatically.
